From 19-21 March 2025, the Institute of Political Science is hosting a workshop on “Citizen Participation, Lay Expertise and Epistemic Injustice”. The workshop is part of the INFLUEX project funded by the Norwegian Research Council.

At the 2024 APSA Annual Meeting in Philadelphia from September 5 to 8, we presented the latest results from our DFG-funded research project in the panel "Conceptions of Democracy among German and American Citizens and Political Elites". A list of the presentations can be found here.
Our workshop "Citizen Perspectives on Democracy Aspirations, Evaluations, and Deficits" took place on March 21 and 22.
